2025 Michigan ORV & Trail Stickers

Ride eligible county roads, frozen surfaces of public waters, state forest roads (open to ORV use), and eligible national forest roads with a $26.25 ORV license.

Additionally, a $10 trail permit is required for operating on state-designated ORV trails and scramble areas.

The ORV license and trail permit are valid for one year, beginning April 1 and ending March 31 of the following year. 

If an ORV is operated exclusively on owner-controlled lands, no license or permit is needed.
